Skype with SLP facilitator

This morning we are having the Skype meeting with our SLP facilitator. Eventhough we are having a school function at Tutong Community Hall, we managed to find a room and had a online meeting at 9.15am.

ALP workshop 1

A successful ALP workshop was done today (25 November 2010) which was organised by Acting Principal, Cikgu Nor Asurah and SMSB's SLP leaders team, Cikgu Salanjat, Cikgu Faris and Cikgu Hafizuddin. Anyway, Cikgu Salanjat had to be away on that day due to attending FR talk. The target groups were the Senior Masters and Mistress, ASMs, HODs and Assist. HODs. Next workshops will be for the other teachers according to Departments.

Mathematics Department Pre-Meeting

Mathematics Department is having another meeting for discussing the NRP's suitable activities and delegation of works that begins in January 2011.

Discussion on cascading ALP Teachers Workshop

Discussion has been made for cascading the workshop between the SLP team including Acting Principal, Cikgu Nor Asurah and HOD of Mathematics. Among the discussion which include the RASI for Numeracy Recovery Program (NRP), NRP's activities, Cascading slides with activities, target groups such as Senior Masters and Mistress, Asst. Senior Masters & Mistress, HODs of Academics with their asssitants as well as School Counsellor and arrangement of tables for teachers. This workshop will be held on 25 November 2010, Thursday from 8.30am to 4.30pm at the AVA room.

First meeting with Mathematics Department SMSB

A first meeting between the Principal, Cikgu Asurah, the SLP team and Mathematics Dept which was held on 3rd November 2010, Wednesday afternoon. In this meeting, the SLP team discuss on the project and topics that the Mathematics Dept will looked into in order to increase the Numeracy Proficiency among students. Beside that, the Mathematics dept also looked into the RASI table and discussed on the time frame which is to be sent to SLP's facilitator, Jennifer Wong
