First meeting with Mathematics Department SMSB

A first meeting between the Principal, Cikgu Asurah, the SLP team and Mathematics Dept which was held on 3rd November 2010, Wednesday afternoon. In this meeting, the SLP team discuss on the project and topics that the Mathematics Dept will looked into in order to increase the Numeracy Proficiency among students. Beside that, the Mathematics dept also looked into the RASI table and discussed on the time frame which is to be sent to SLP's facilitator, Jennifer Wong

SMSB Attended SLP program

From 28 October 2010 to 1 November 2010, SMSB Leader team comprises of Cikgu Salanjat, Deputy Principal of Administration, Cikgu Muhd. Faris, Deputy Principal of Academic and Cikgu Muhd Hafizuddin, Asst. Senior Master of Administration have attended the School Leadership Program (SLP) Cohort 4. The program was held in Institute for Leadership, Innovation & Advancement (ILIA), Universiti Brunei Darussalam.

During the 5 days training workshop, they have leant about the development of Teachable Point of View, improvement in leadership, new networking with other schools leader and other knowledge, skills and tools based on best practice benchmarks.

From the workshop, the team has also planned to do the project on Numeracy Recovery Programme.
